Because of timezones and general life craziness not every one can join from 9-11pm EST (#talknt) so I started #talknt2 about 6 months ago to see if we could get enough people to maintain a second chat. The timing 1-3pmEST is to allow our Brit friends to join in, 6pm UK time.
It also allows some who can't stay up on the east coast or who are at dinner on the west coast during the later chat.
