This is one of the BIGGEST giveaways we've done on Talkin Tuesday and I'm so happy it's Aurifil because I genuinely LOVE this thread. I use it for everything, piecing, quilting, applique, binding and even the lower weights for embroidery.
If you haven't tried Aurifil you're in for a real treat when you do.
It is a low lint thread, runs beautifully through any machine I've ever put it in, doesn't snap a bunch when it a needle for binding, the colours are vibrant and true, and it is just such a joy to work with, you most likely won't want to go back to any other thread. I know I didn't. I used to use a middle of the pack thread, and had tried more expensive brands but didn't get anything extra from them so always went back to the "G" but once I tired Aurifil I stopped using anything else for piecing, and 75% of my quilting is done with Aurifil now too.
We will be talking thread during #talknt2, shocking I know, and it will be a great chance to ask questions, and discuss what you want in a thread. We will have Donna from
Follow that Thread, one of the US distributors for Aurifil with us, and if we're lucky
Alex Veronelli will pop in. If you don't know Alex he's one of the quilting worlds jet setters, always off to one international show or another, and I'm pretty sure half the quilter population is a little in love with him lol.
